Silver tube electrode with a silver chloride surface treatment for EEG signal acquisition assemblies, with OEM dimensional review, matching lead options and bulk supply from Heymed Medical
This tubular Ag/AgCl EEG electrode combines a silver body with a silver chloride surface treatment. The tube form is intended for integration into an EEG electrode holder or signal-acquisition assembly, with the exposed electrode area and lead connection defined by the equipment design.
Heymed Medical supplies electrode components for equipment OEMs and EEG hardware developers. Tube dimensions, mounting fit, surface requirements and matching leads can be reviewed from drawings or samples. Share your assembly requirements and target quantity to request sample evaluation and a bulk-supply quotation.
Solutions & Applications
For EEG cap, headset and biosignal module development, the electrode tube should be evaluated together with its holder, exposed contact surface and acquisition electronics. Its mounting dimensions and lead routing need to match the assembly drawing.
Heymed Medical can review tube dimensions, surface treatment requirements, attachment details and any matching cable assembly. Define the intended contact medium, evaluation method and acceptance criteria before sample approval. Production quotations can cover electrode components or an agreed assembly scope, with packaging and delivery requirements stated for the order.
Medical-grade auricular stimulation cable specifications for healthcare and neuromodulation therapy applications.
The Ag/AgCl-Coated Silver Tube Dry EEG Electrode is a compact tubular contact component developed for EEG biosignal acquisition and custom electrode assemblies. The reference design uses a silver-based metal tube with a silver/silver chloride surface treatment.
Unlike multi-prong or flat disc electrodes, this design features a slim, hollow tube structure. Its dimensions, exposed contact area and connection method can be specified for compatible EEG sensors, research equipment and custom electrode holders.
The tubular shape provides an alternative to conventional disc and comb-style EEG electrodes. Its small cylindrical profile can be considered for sensor assemblies where mounting space, contact geometry and electrical termination need to be designed together.
The reference product lists a 10mm specification. Actual tube length, outer diameter, inner diameter and tolerances must be confirmed from the approved drawing before production.
The reference electrode uses silver material with an Ag/AgCl surface treatment for bioelectrical signal applications. The material and surface-finish specifications should be selected according to the intended EEG contact conditions.
This surface-treated construction differs from the powder-sintered structure of our Columnar Sintered Ag/AgCl Electrode. The two electrode types require separate evaluation of material, contact geometry and application conditions.
The silver tube is an electrode contact component rather than a complete ready-to-wear EEG sensor. It can be evaluated for installation in a compatible insulating holder, with the exposed contact area and lead-wire connection defined by the equipment design.
The mounting arrangement should support the electrode mechanically while maintaining the required electrical connection. Contact pressure, insulation, wire attachment and the intended scalp-contact method must be confirmed during sensor development.
Other scalp-contact designs and matching lead wires are available through our EEG & EMG Electrodes & Cables product range.

Resolve your concerns in advance — stress-free communication, efficient coordination
It has a silver body with a silver chloride surface treatment. The silver base and treated surface form the Ag/AgCl electrode component. Specify the required material grade, surface coverage and acceptance criteria when asking Heymed Medical to review your configuration.
The reference nominal specification is 10mm. Tube length, outer diameter, bore and tolerances are agreed on the project drawing. Heymed Medical can review dimensional changes against your holder and lead-assembly requirements, with manufacturing feasibility and sample requirements confirmed before production.
Mounting and lead attachment follow the electrode-holder and lead-assembly drawings. Define the retained portion, exposed electrode area, connection location and mechanical support. Heymed Medical can review the tube and matching lead together; the quotation identifies which parts and assembly work are included.
Evaluate dry-contact use with the intended holder, contact pressure and acquisition electronics. Tube geometry and Ag/AgCl material do not by themselves establish gel-free operation or device compatibility. If a conductive medium is part of the design, specify it during sample evaluation and confirm surface compatibility.
Send Heymed Medical your drawing or reference sample, tube dimensions, surface requirements, mounting details, lead specification and intended contact method. Include sample quantity, expected order volume, evaluation criteria and delivery requirements. Sample availability, tooling, minimum order quantity and lead time are confirmed for the selected configuration.
