Solutions & Applications
The Gold-Plated Multi-Pin EEG Connector provides a compact electrical interface between compatible EEG electrode assemblies, caps, headsets and biosignal acquisition equipment. Both 4-pin and 6-pin configurations can be developed for different device architectures.
For OEM/ODM projects, pin count, pin layout, connector dimensions, contact finish, mating structure and mounting method can be customized according to the customer's equipment design. The connector can also be integrated into a Custom Medical Cable Assembly or device housing.
Heymed Medical supports drawing review, pinout confirmation, prototype development, dimensional inspection, continuity testing, mating verification and volume manufacturing. Customers can provide device drawings, connector specifications, existing samples or interface requirements for engineering evaluation.
Medical-grade auricular stimulation cable specifications for healthcare and neuromodulation therapy applications.
This gold-plated multi-pin EEG connector is designed for integration into EEG caps, EEG headsets, biosignal acquisition equipment and other compatible electrophysiological systems requiring a compact multi-contact interface. Standard configurations are available in 4-pin and 6-pin versions, while the contact arrangement and mechanical structure can be developed according to the target device.
Unlike a fixed off-the-shelf connector, this component can be developed around the customer's complete EEG system architecture. Pin layout, connector dimensions, mating interface and mounting method can be reviewed together so that the connector fits both the electrical definition and the mechanical design of the finished equipment.

In an EEG system, a multi-pin connector can provide a centralized connection point between an electrode assembly and compatible signal acquisition hardware. Multiple electrical contacts are arranged within a compact circular structure, helping reduce the space required compared with routing individual connections separately.
Depending on the equipment architecture, the connector can be integrated into an EEG cap, headset, cable assembly, device housing or panel-mounted connection structure. The final configuration should be selected according to channel requirements, cable routing, available installation space and the mating connector used by the equipment.
Gold-plated contact surfaces provide a stable conductive interface and improved resistance to surface oxidation in repeated connection applications. The complete connector system should still be evaluated together with the customer's device, cable assembly and signal acquisition electronics.

Pin count alone does not determine connector compatibility. Two connectors may both use four or six contacts but still differ in pin diameter, spacing, orientation, connector diameter, keying structure, installation dimensions or mating depth.
For this reason, Heymed Medical develops custom EEG connectors based on the customer's approved interface definition rather than assuming that connectors with the same number of pins are interchangeable. The required pin positions and mechanical dimensions can be evaluated from drawings, CAD data, mating connector specifications or physical reference samples.
This engineering approach is particularly useful for new EEG equipment development, replacement connector projects and customized EEG cap or headset platforms where an existing standard connector does not fully match the finished-device structure.
Pin configuration: 4-pin, 6-pin or a project-specific contact arrangement according to the approved design.
Pin layout: contact spacing, orientation and electrical position developed around the target mating interface.
Mechanical structure: connector diameter, installation dimensions, mating depth and housing integration.
Electrical definition: pin assignment and channel mapping confirmed according to the EEG device or electrode assembly.
Integration method: connector module, EEG cap, cable assembly, headset, equipment housing or panel installation.

Custom EEG connector development requires both mechanical and electrical verification. Before sampling, our engineering team can review the mating connector, contact arrangement, dimensions, mounting structure and pin definition to reduce the risk of interface mismatch.
Prototype samples can then be evaluated for dimensional accuracy, pin position, electrical continuity and mating performance according to the approved project requirements. This provides a clearer development path before the connector is integrated into a complete EEG cable assembly, electrode cap or biosignal acquisition device.
Heymed Medical supports custom EEG connector and EEG & EMG electrode and cable projects from engineering review and prototype development through inspection and volume manufacturing.
The connector can be supplied as an individual component or evaluated as part of a broader EEG interconnection solution. Depending on the project, it can be combined with electrode leads, EEG caps, cable assemblies and compatible equipment-side connectors.
Customers developing a complete EEG platform can provide the EEG cap structure, amplifier interface, channel mapping, connector drawing or existing reference sample so that the connector and cable architecture can be reviewed as one integrated system.
For complete EEG and biosignal projects, the connector can be evaluated together with compatible electrode, cap and lead-wire structures according to the target acquisition system.

Resolve your concerns in advance — stress-free communication, efficient coordination
A gold-plated multi-pin EEG connector is a compact electrical interface used to connect compatible EEG electrode assemblies, caps or headsets with signal acquisition cables or equipment. This product is available in 4-pin and 6-pin configurations.
The main difference is the number of electrical contacts. The required pin count and pin assignment should be selected according to the EEG system, electrode configuration and device interface design.
It can be integrated into compatible EEG caps, EEG headsets, electrode assemblies, biosignal acquisition equipment and other device interfaces requiring a compact multi-pin connection.
