Five-prong dry EEG electrode with an ABS body and Ag/AgCl surface treatment for EEG cap and headset integration, with OEM configuration review and bulk supply from Heymed Medical
This 5-prong dry EEG electrode combines an ABS body with a silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) surface treatment. Five rounded prongs extend from a circular base, providing a defined contact geometry for integration into EEG caps and headsets.
Heymed Medical supplies electrode components for equipment manufacturers and EEG system developers. Share your electrode holder drawing, lead connection requirements and sample quantity to review the configuration. Custom geometry, mounting and matching lead assemblies can be assessed for OEM projects before a bulk-supply quotation is prepared.
Solutions & Applications
For EEG cap, wearable EEG and brain-computer interface hardware projects, the electrode must work with the holder, lead connection and acquisition electronics as an assembly. The five-prong geometry gives OEM teams a specific structure to evaluate against their headset layout and intended scalp contact conditions.
Heymed Medical can review drawings or samples for electrode configuration and matching cable requirements. Define the mounting envelope, contact geometry, electrical evaluation method and target quantity so sample approval and volume supply follow the same agreed specification.
Medical-grade auricular stimulation cable specifications for healthcare and neuromodulation therapy applications.
This 5-prong dry EEG electrode features five rounded contact posts arranged on a compact circular base. The ABS-based structure uses a silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) surface-treatment specification for integration into compatible EEG recording systems, wearable brain-monitoring devices and neuroscience research equipment.
Unlike a densely packed metal comb electrode, this design uses five larger contact prongs. It offers an alternative scalp-contact geometry for equipment developers who need to consider hair clearance, electrode positioning and mounting space. Heymed Medical supports OEM/ODM development based on the intended electrode holder and biosignal acquisition system.

The five-prong structure is designed to help establish multiple contact points within a single scalp-electrode assembly. Its rounded contact ends can be evaluated for EEG caps and headsets where hair and mounting pressure affect the electrode-to-scalp interface.
All five prongs form part of one electrode structure rather than five independent recording channels. Actual contact quality depends on the electrode material, fit, applied pressure and the recording system.
For projects requiring a denser metallic contact array, the 24-Pin Ag/AgCl Comb Dry EEG Electrode provides a different scalp-contact design with a 3.9mm snap interface.

The reference electrode uses an ABS-based body with a specified silver/silver chloride surface treatment. This construction is different from solid-metal or powder-sintered Ag/AgCl electrodes and should be selected according to the intended electrical and mechanical requirements.
Contact coating, prong dimensions, surface condition and mechanical durability are important during sample evaluation. Electrode impedance and signal quality should be checked under the actual wearing and recording conditions rather than assumed from the material name alone.
The circular base is intended to be evaluated with a suitable electrode holder or headset mounting structure. The reference design includes features on the underside and side of the base, but the final mating dimensions and electrical connection method must be confirmed from the actual sample or drawing.
For EEG equipment development, electrode positioning, holder fit, cable routing and connection to the acquisition electronics should be reviewed together. This helps ensure that the electrode remains correctly positioned during the intended measurement procedure.
Other dry electrodes, EEG accessories and compatible biosignal lead wires are available through our EEG & EMG Electrodes & Cables range.

Heymed Medical works with EEG device developers and equipment manufacturers to review electrode geometry, material specifications and matching installation requirements.
Customers can provide an electrode drawing, reference sample, headset holder dimensions or electrical requirements for engineering evaluation. Samples can then be checked for mechanical fit, contact condition and compatibility with the intended acquisition system.
For custom electrode connections, matching lead wires and related development, our Medical Cable OEM/ODM Customization service supports product engineering and sample preparation.
Please provide the required electrode dimensions, contact coating specification, mounting method, matching interface and estimated order quantity. Final material performance, patient-contact safety and regulatory requirements should be verified for the completed device.
We provide OEM and ODM medical cable assembly services for neuromodulation therapy device manufacturers and healthcare brands worldwide.
Resolve your concerns in advance — stress-free communication, efficient coordination
It uses an ABS body with a silver/silver chloride surface treatment. Five rounded contact prongs extend from a circular base. Heymed Medical supplies this electrode component for integration into compatible EEG caps and headsets.
The product is intended for dry-contact EEG designs. The equipment developer should confirm the contact method and evaluate the assembled headset under its intended conditions. Any gel-assisted configuration should be specified separately, including compatibility with the electrode surface.
Heymed Medical can review your drawing or reference sample for changes to geometry, mounting and lead connection. Provide base dimensions, prong length and spacing, holder details and the mating lead specification. Feasibility, tooling and sample requirements are confirmed during the project review.
Review the electrode holder, mounting dimensions, lead connection and scalp-contact geometry before substitution. Validate the selected electrode with the intended acquisition system. A five-prong shape or the same Ag/AgCl surface material alone does not establish interchangeability.
Send Heymed Medical your drawing or sample reference, intended equipment, quantity, evaluation requirements and delivery target. Specify whether you need electrode components only or matching leads and assembly support. Sample availability, pricing, minimum order quantity and lead time are confirmed for the agreed scope.
