Solutions & Applications
The 4-Pin Spring-Loaded Contact ECG Cable provides a compact connection between compatible ECG equipment, patient-monitoring systems and electrode accessories. The spring-loaded contact interface is suitable for devices where compact connector size, repeated docking and simple cable connection are important.
For OEM/ODM projects, spring-contact layout, pin assignment, cable length, lead configuration, 4.0mm female snap connectors, cable material and overmold structure can be developed according to the finished-device design. The cable can also be integrated into broader ECG Lead Wires or Custom Medical Cable Assemblies.
Heymed Medical supports device interface review, pinout confirmation, connector integration, cable structure design, prototype development, continuity testing and volume manufacturing. Customers can provide device drawings, contact-pad layouts, pin definitions, existing cable samples or interface dimensions for engineering evaluation.
Medical-grade auricular stimulation cable specifications for healthcare and neuromodulation therapy applications.
This custom 3-lead ECG cable combines a compact 4-pin spring-loaded device connector with three color-coded 4.0mm female electrode snaps. It provides an organized connection between compatible ECG, patient-monitoring or biosignal equipment and three snap-style electrode interfaces.
The compact device-side connector is particularly useful for portable and integrated equipment where connector size, cable direction and repeated connection need to be considered together. Red, blue and black lead identification also helps distinguish individual channels during equipment assembly, testing and daily connection.
A spring-loaded contact interface provides a compact detachable connection between the cable assembly and the target device. When the connector is engaged with a matching device-side interface, the spring contacts maintain electrical contact while accommodating a controlled amount of mechanical travel.
This type of connection can be useful in portable monitoring equipment, wearable biosignal hardware and other compact electronic systems where conventional larger connectors may occupy unnecessary enclosure space. The final mechanical design should be evaluated together with the matching device connector, housing geometry and cable exit direction.
Connectors with a similar external appearance are not necessarily electrically interchangeable. Contact spacing, pin assignment, polarity and channel mapping must be confirmed against the actual equipment interface before sampling or production.

The cable separates the device-side connection into three individual electrode leads, each terminating in a 4.0mm female snap connector. This structure allows compatible snap electrodes to be connected individually while maintaining a single compact interface at the equipment side.
Color-coded overmolded connectors provide visual channel identification and can be adapted according to the customer's approved channel layout. Lead length, breakout position and cable routing can also be developed around the physical arrangement of the finished device.
Nominal snap diameter is only one part of compatibility. The mating electrode stud geometry, insertion depth and retention characteristics should be checked against the actual electrode or approved drawing before volume production.
Device-side interface: connector dimensions, contact spacing, orientation and mating structure.
Pin assignment: electrical mapping, polarity and individual signal-channel definition based on the target device.
Electrode connection: 4.0mm female snap geometry and compatibility with the intended male electrode stud.
Lead configuration: channel quantity, lead colors, branch length, main cable length and breakout dimensions.
Cable construction: conductor specification, jacket material, shielding requirement, strain relief and overmold structure according to the finished equipment.

For OEM medical cable projects, a four-contact connector does not automatically determine how each contact should be used. Two devices may use mechanically similar connectors but assign power, ground or biosignal channels differently.
Heymed Medical can review device drawings, PCB definitions, pinout diagrams, interface photographs or existing cable samples before prototype development. The electrical mapping between the four device-side contacts and the three electrode leads can then be defined according to the approved equipment architecture.
This engineering review is particularly important for replacement cables and new device-development projects, where connector appearance alone should not be used to determine compatibility.
Heymed Medical supports custom ECG and biosignal cable development from interface review and cable-structure design through sample preparation and volume manufacturing. Customers can provide connector drawings, equipment information, electrode specifications or an existing reference sample for engineering evaluation.
During prototype development, connector fit, pin-to-pin continuity, channel mapping, lead dimensions and snap mating can be checked against the approved project requirements. Cable materials, lead colors, labels, overmolding and packaging can then be finalized according to the production specification.

Resolve your concerns in advance — stress-free communication, efficient coordination
It is a 1-to-3 medical cable assembly that connects a compatible device through a 4-pin spring-loaded contact interface and provides three electrode leads for ECG or patient-monitoring applications.
The standard electrode side uses three 4.0mm female snap connectors designed to mate with compatible snap electrode interfaces.
Spring-loaded contact connector is the generic technical description for this connector mechanism. The term pogo pin is also commonly used in the electronics industry to describe spring-loaded contact pins.
It can be developed for compatible ECG, patient-monitoring and biosignal equipment. Final compatibility depends on the spring-contact layout, pin assignment, electrode interface and electrical requirements of the device.
