4.0mm Banana Plug to 4.0mm Female Snap Electrode Lead Wire – 1800mm Black PVC Cable

This 1.8-meter electrode lead wire is built for equipment that uses a 4.0mm banana output on one side and a 4.0mm snap-style electrode connection on the other. The long, slim cable gives the user more freedom to position the equipment away from the electrode area while keeping the connection simple and easy to identify.

The standard version uses a black PVC cable with an outer diameter of approximately 2.0mm. Both connector ends are molded to support the cable transition, while the overall construction can be adjusted for different equipment interfaces, cable lengths and electrode systems.

1.8m Cable Length for More Practical Equipment-to-Electrode Routing

The 1800mm cable length is useful when the treatment or stimulation device cannot sit directly beside the electrode position. It gives additional routing distance between the equipment and the user without adding extra adapter sections.

This can be particularly useful with physiotherapy, rehabilitation and electrical stimulation equipment where the controller may remain on a trolley, desktop or bedside surface while the electrode is positioned on the body.

For projects that need a shorter or longer working distance, the cable length can be changed without altering the basic banana-to-snap architecture.

Two Connector Ends, Two Different Jobs

On the equipment side, the 4.0mm banana plug provides a removable connection to a compatible 4.0mm socket. On the electrode side, the 4.0mm female snap is designed to engage with a matching male snap electrode or accessory.

That makes this cable different from a conventional banana-to-banana test lead: one end is intended for the equipment interface, while the other is built around an electrode connection.

Customers developing related equipment can also review our 4.0mm Banana Plug Test Lead Wire for other banana-plug cable configurations.

Slim OD2.0 Black PVC Cable

The standard cable uses a black PVC jacket with a nominal outer diameter of 2.0mm. The slim profile keeps the lead wire lightweight and easy to route while still providing a practical jacket for repeated handling.

Black is suitable for equipment where a neutral, low-visibility cable is preferred. Other colors, jacket materials and conductor structures can be evaluated when the finished product has different flexibility, appearance or electrical requirements.

Standard Product Configuration

Equipment-side connector: 4.0mm banana plug.

Electrode-side connector: 4.0mm female medical snap.

Cable length: 1800mm.

Outer diameter: OD 2.0mm.

Cable jacket: Black PVC.

Project options: Cable length, conductor structure, jacket material, molding, connector dimensions, color, labeling and packaging can be adjusted according to the approved OEM/ODM specification.

Snap Fit Matters as Much as Nominal Diameter

A connector marked as 4.0mm is not automatically compatible with every 4.0mm mating part. For the female snap end, the actual male stud geometry, engagement depth and retention feel should be checked before production.

The same applies to the banana plug side: socket depth, contact geometry and the equipment interface should be reviewed using the actual device or an approved drawing whenever possible.

Additional snap-electrode lead wires and compatible accessories can be found in our TENS & EMS Cables & Electrode Accessories range.

Built Around the Actual Device, Not Just the Connector Names

For OEM projects, we recommend confirming both ends of the cable against the actual equipment and electrode rather than working only from nominal connector names. A sample, interface drawing or clear mating photo can help define the correct mechanical relationship before production.

Heymed Medical can adjust the banana plug, female snap, cable length, conductor structure and overmold details as one complete assembly. More complex configurations can be developed through our Custom Medical Cable Assemblies engineering capability.

What We Confirm Before Production

Before an OEM order moves into production, the main points to confirm are the mating fit at both connector ends, the required cable length, conductor specification, PVC jacket construction and finished overmold dimensions.

Engineering samples can then be used to check connector engagement, continuity, cable routing and overall handling on the actual equipment. The approved sample and drawing become the reference for repeat production.
